Hi everyone, I love working in our 'fantastic' Library here at KNS. I have the best job in the school (don't tell anyone). Come in to read, use the computers, play in the games room, 'explore' in the Maori Cultural Room, colour/draw, use the listening post and so much more..... We are getting new books all the time into our Library - make sure you keep checking our 'new book' stand and also our 'as featured on the KNS Library Blog' stand. Be sure to read them and write a review! Mrs Lynskey

MUM AND DAD GLUE written by Kes Gray, illustrated by Lee Wildish
I found this wonderful new picture books whilst I was waiting for my flight back from Wellington. It is a lovely story of a boy who is looking for some 'glue' for his parents who are splitting up. This would be a great book for any student who may be in the same situation. Although it is a picture book, it would be suitable for students of all ages.
A little boy tries to find a pot of parent glue to stick his mum and dad back together. His parents have come undone and he wants to mend their marriage, stick their smiles back on and make them better. This story is brilliantly told with a powerful message that even though his parents may be broken, their love for him is not.
