Hi everyone, I love working in our 'fantastic' Library here at KNS. I have the best job in the school (don't tell anyone). Come in to read, use the computers, play in the games room, 'explore' in the Maori Cultural Room, colour/draw, use the listening post and so much more..... We are getting new books all the time into our Library - make sure you keep checking our 'new book' stand and also our 'as featured on the KNS Library Blog' stand. We have three new adventures from Zac Power - The Fear Files, The Rock Star Files and The Underwater Files

Did you know - H.I. Larry (author) is in fact Hillary, yes a woman!

AND FOR THE GIRLS - We have several of 'The Princess Diaries' series by Meg Cabot. Read all about Mia, the most unlikely princess ever!

Also new this week is a lovely book from New Zealand author Sherryl Jordan. 'Finnigan and the pirates' is an easy to read story. "Wildbloode the Wicked is the fiercest, most ferocious pirate in all the seven seas. All she wants is for her nephew to follow in her footsteps. But Finnigan's not interested in piratical pillaging. All he wants to do ...... is dance!

THIS BOOK HAS JUST WON THE JUNIOR FICTION AWARD AT THE NEW ZEALAND POST CHILDREN'S BOOK AWARDS 2011
